Digital Talent (TD) is a public-private initiative that seeks labor retraining in Chile through bootcamps, teaching high-level digital skills which are certified with digital badges. To recognize the efforts of its students and provide them with a valuable certificate in the digital age, TD implemented digital badges.
Challenge
At Talento Digital they wanted to stop using traditional physical diplomas and were looking for digital recognition that would add value to their courses, following the line of digitalization and satisfying the modern needs of their students. During their research they came across Acreditta and from the first moment they were captivated by the platform’s functionalities.
The solution
Talento Digital decided to implement digital badges for its courses, allowing students to:
- Share your achievement on social networks and digital platforms.
- Have a certificate that does not expire.
- Verify your learning quickly and safely.
The results
- High adoption: From the induction stage, all students feel motivated when they find out that they are going to receive a badge, so they accept it when it is issued. Talento Digital has achieved an acceptance rate of 82%.
- Greater visibility: Since digital badges can be shared on social networks and employment platforms, this has allowed for greater reach for students and Digital Talent.
- Sharing rate: Once they receive their digital badge, the vast majority of Talento Digital students (85%) enthusiastically share it in their professional networks.
“Digital badges are an added value for students. It gives them the ability to share their achievement in the digital world and gives them a certificate that does not expire. It is a plus that we give to the students and that we notice from the beginning.” Esteban Castro, Head of Digital Talent Certification.
