LMS integration (LTI)

Acreditta connects to your LMS through the LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) protocol to automate digital credential issuance when a student completes a course, without you having to issue them manually one by one.

LMS supported today:

• Moodle — from Moodle 3.9 onward.
• Canvas — includes field mapping and bulk issuance from the instructor.
• Brightspace D2L.

🔎 Note: Blackboard is on the public roadmap (coming soon) — it isn’t available yet as an option in the LMS selector.

All integrations share the same general idea: you create an API user and key in Acreditta, configure an External Tool from Integrations → External Tools choosing your LMS in the selector, and connect that tool with the corresponding LTI configuration on your LMS side. The exact fields you need to fill in vary depending on the LMS you choose — check the specific guide for your LMS for the details.

Do I need a paid plan for this?

The LTI integration itself doesn’t depend on the API/Webhooks feature flag — it’s a capability available from the Standard plan up. If you have questions about whether your plan includes it, contact your account executive or tech@acreditta.com.
