Create a digital certificate

To create a digital certificate you must complete the metadata information that will be described below. Remember that only the fields that have an asterisk (*) They are mandatory.

  • Full Name(*): must be concise, direct and clear about the accreditation that gives rise to the credential. Example: Certification in Project Management.
  • Description(*): describes the profile of the accredited person as a result of having completed the accreditation. It is a paragraph of maximum 500 characters. It is suggested to start like this “The accredited person is able to…” and then summarize what the person knows and is able to do as a result of the accreditation.
    Example: The accredited person understands the importance of project management and has a general understanding of the SCRUM methodology. He or she is able to guide a team through the SCRUM sprint cycle by assigning roles, tasks, and responsibilities for the development of a product.
  • Certificate code: Unique alphanumeric code that identifies the recognition to be granted.
  • Skills: the skills that the accredited person has developed as a result of the accreditation are mentioned. Multiple skills can be entered. Skills must be concise and key. This field is filled out through a catalogue, so it is enough to write a few letters and related options will appear. Once found, click to insert it. If a specific skill is not found, a new one can be added by writing it in full and pressing ENTER. It is recommended to use 2-3 key words per skill.
    Example: creativity, ideation, brainstorming, instead of saying Use different methodologies to generate ideas as a team.
  • Requirements(*): The requirements that the accredited person must meet to obtain the credential are indicated. There may be several requirements. It is suggested that they be written starting with a verb in the infinitive. You can click on Add requirement to add and use the Garbage To eliminate them.
    Example: Take at least 80% of the course, Pass the exam with a grade higher than 7/10, Present an application project which must be evaluated with a grade higher than 15/20.
  • standards: The standards on which the credential is based are indicated. They usually point to legal, educational, methodological, corporate, regional or international frameworks. There may be several standards. For each standard, the name and the public link to more information about it are completed. Click on Add standard to add and use the Garbage To eliminate them.

  • More Information: Link that leads to a public space containing information about the program that gave rise to the accreditation. It usually leads to the page of a course, an event or the organizing company. It is important to include it to generate traction to the page thanks to the accredited when they share their credentials and third parties see the details.
  • Credential language: Choose the language of the experience of the accredited person who will receive this type of credential. Currently, it is possible to choose between Spanish, English and Portuguese. Accredited persons will receive notification emails in that language. It is important that if the recognition is granted in one of the available languages, the content of the metadata is written in that same language.
  • Tags : are the categories to which the credential belongs based on the recognition map defined by the organization. E.g.: Continuing Education, Teacher Training, Institutional Recognitions, School of Innovation. To add a tag, type it and press ENTER. To delete it, click on the trash can.
  • How to earn this credential?: A telephone number, email or link is provided through which the interested party can contact and register for the program that will lead them to obtain that credential.
  • Allow multiple issuances of this credential to the same accredited person: If you need to issue an acknowledgement to the same email multiple times, this option must be selected.

Once the metadata information is complete, you can:

  • Click on Create certificate to create the credential and issue it.
  • Click on Save as draft to save the credential and continue editing it. You will not be able to broadcast with it until it is published.
