Creating my Acreditta Wallet

Why your digital credential is already valuable, Wallet or not

Every credential you accept on Acreditta is a verifiable digital credential, under the international Open Badges 3.0 standard, and it’s recorded on the LACChain blockchain (LACNet’s network, backed by the IDB). This happens when you accept it, regardless of whether you have a Wallet, and it means:

No one can forge it or alter its data without it being detected — anyone can verify it independently.
It’s a stronger form of proof for employers, universities, or other organizations who want to confirm you actually earned it.
You can share it on LinkedIn and other networks to showcase your achievements and boost your professional visibility.

What your credential gains once you also create your Wallet

Creating an Acreditta Wallet doesn’t change your credential’s validity — it centralizes it and gives you more control over it:

Everything in one place: any credential granted to that email, accepted or pending, automatically shows up in your Wallet.
Simpler, more secure access: you can log in with a password or set up SSO and Passkey.
Per-credential privacy control: you decide which ones are public or private, and which show up in search engines. See Making a credential public or private.
A single profile even if you use several emails: you can link additional emails or merge wallets if you’ve received credentials at more than one address.
Keep them on your phone: add your accepted credentials to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet to have them on hand.

How to create your Wallet

Go to https://wallet.acreditta.com/register.
Create your account using the same email you’ve received (or expect to receive) your digital credentials on.
Confirm the code sent to your email and you’re done.

🔎 Note: any credential already issued to that email, accepted or pending acceptance, will automatically show up in your Wallet.

Once inside, you can log in with a password or set up SSO and Passkey to get in faster next time.
