Create a digital degree

Digital degrees now live in the Academic Degrees and Diplomas category, which groups 10 types: Degree, Diploma, Secondary School Diploma, General Education Development, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Doctoral Degree, Professional Doctorate and Research Doctorate. See what each one recognizes in Credential categories and types.

How to create it

1. Click Create recognition template and choose the Academic Degrees and Diplomas card.
2. Choose the specific type from the list, for example Bachelor Degree or Master Degree.
3. Fill in the single template form: Create an achievement template.

Recommendations for this category

• Academic context: expand this section and fill in Field of study, Program, Faculty, Campus and Result type. A Verifier expects to see this data on a degree, and it shows on the credential’s public page.
• Criteria: the graduation requirements.
  Example: Pass all academic credits of the study plan, defend and pass the thesis.
• Standards: the program’s accreditation resolution or framework.
• Record design: select the PDF diploma design the Earner will receive. Create it first in Certificate design.
• Institutional record: data specific to each graduate, such as folio, registry book, minutes, result and credits or hours, is filled in at issuance, not in the template. See Individual sending.

The more complete the program information, the more trust the verified degree conveys.
